Ad Club Reel Night A Success


The 2010 Ad Club's Reel Night was a success from the quantity and quality of industry veterans that attended. Parents always show up to their children's soccer games and many of Atlanta's Creative Chiefs treat their creative product like their children. So when the Atlanta Ad Club decided to put agency reels on display for everyone in the industry there was great anticipation and turn out last night at The Hudson Grill Midtown Location. The mix pitted the big multinational conglomerates, Fitzgerald, JWT, BBDO, against the local hot shots Van Winkle, Three, Kilgannon, Ames Scullin O'Hare and 22Squared. Personally I thought the independents held up quite well against the big budgeted public companies. The internet driven agencies showed up but really did not know what to show on a reel night. Some were agency tours and others were agency principals on camera and AfterEffects edited pieces around their online work.
