BBA Luncheon A Good Message

I went to the BBA Luncheon at 103 West this afternoon. The speaker was Bill Curry the ex football player, coach, and ESPN color man. He had a great message. What would you rather have the "pain of discipline or the pain of regret". Boy this really hits home in the advertising business. An agency is a flower factory, we put all hours and hours into an account building strategy and working on building a promise for our clients, then, it all comes out in one flower or campaign. How this flower appears to the consumer is usually simply explained by how hard you work to get the information up the stalk. When it works it's beautiful and when it doesn't there is regret. You usually get only one chance to get it right and you might as well throw all you got into the effort.
Bill was trying to get the message across for leadership and helping America's youth. I just take everything to Atlanta Advertising.
